Investing in our local community
We believe in giving something back to the community. That's why we work closely with our staff and clients to identify opportunities to interact with and support local communities, so that we can make a positive difference in people's lives.
Since 2020, Graysons has been proud members of Alpha Training Academy in conjunction with Greater Manchester Combined Authority. We've used this partnership to support local community interest groups, education and work placement initiatives, and volunteering.

Volunteering programme
We're proud to announce that we have partnered with GMCA and Alpha Training Academy to support local communities and charities through our volunteering programme. We encourage all of our employees to be active in the community by offering them paid leave to devote to volunteering.
One of our regular activities focuses on supporting and developing children from low-income households that depend on food provisions at school that may be impacted during school holidays. In conjunction with GMCA and Alpha Training Academy, we support the provision of daily hot meals and a safe environment for the children to learn new skills in martial arts and health/nutrition which is delivered by some of our employees who also represent GB at national level.

Investing in the future
We have partnered up with North West Skills Academy Manchester to offer fully funded NVQs and other relevant occupational courses to encourage upskilling and development to unemployed/employed individuals.

value profile
We are committed to creating a working environment where our staff can flourish and achieve their personal and professional goals. We know that establishing a workplace where people feel motivated, supported and connected doesn't just help them — it also helps us to attract and retain the best people.
We invest in our staff by providing training and mentoring, skills development and leadership programmes so that all individuals can achieve their full potential and do a great job for our clients. We recognize that it's our people who make our business successful and we believe that they should be rewarded accordingly.
In recognition of this, we provide competitive market salaries and a range of benefits that demonstrate our commitment to staff well-being both professionally and personally. Our aim is to create an enjoyable, safe and supportive working environment for all. We believe that everyone should be treated as individuals, fairly and with respect. Our staff come from a wide range of backgrounds and ages; their varied knowledge and experience is a source of new ideas and creativity. Teamwork, collaboration and sharing of experience is also very important to us as well as our approach to doing business.

commitment to the environment
As a business, we strive to be ethical and responsible in all of our activities. One important part of this is our commitment to minimising our own environmental impact and promoting good environmental practice. Whether we are saving costs by reducing energy consumption or creating desirable buildings through PAS2035/2035 Retrofit, reducing our impact on the environment is very important to us.
As Retrofit and Built Environment specialists we believe that we have a unique responsibility to help retrofit buildings that are sensitive to the environment and sustainable in the long term. To this end we set and follow best practice in our work. We incorporate technical developments, costs and client concerns and expectations in the design and construction of all of our projects.
We are committed to continuing to operate with respect for the environment in all our activities while growing our position as an industry leader in Retrofit and Sustainability.
